Raúl Castro receives President Diaz-Canel upon returning to Cuba

Havana - The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, today received the President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, upon his return to this capital after a Tour through several countries.

Diaz-Canel and the accompanying delegation were welcomed by the Cuban high leader at the bottom of the stairs of the ship where they arrived at the José Martí international airport in the capital this morning, according to a report by Granma newspaper.

On October 20, the Cuban president began a tour of Ireland, Belarus and Azerbaidzhan, where he participated in the 18th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement,after which he made a work visit to the Russian Federation.

Fifty years telling stories

The Los Cuenteros Puppet Theater Company celebrated its 50th anniversary this November 19 at the Museum of Humor, located in San Antonio de los Baños, with the exhibition ''Fifty years telling stories''. The exhibition shows photographs, puppets and costumes used by Los Cuenteros in various performances since 1969.
