Artemisa, Cuba - The Base Committee of the Basic Unit of Cooperative Production (UBPC) Batalla of Las Guásimas is getting ready for the 11th Congress of the Young Communist League (UJC), to be held in April 2020.

Roilán Leal, general secretary of the Base Committee, will represent its 10 members at the Municipal Balance Assembly, to be held on November 8 at the Lázaro Peña Tobacco Company.

Roilán Leal, in an interview with Radio Ariguanabo, stated: ''More than 50 percent of the workforce is made up of young people committed to working hard for the development of the Cuban economy''.
