Cuban Judoka Del Toro in Japan's Grand Slam

Cuban judoka Maylin del Toro finished fifth in the 63-kilogram division on Saturday, at the last Grand Slam of the year, held in this Japanese city.
After winning her first two fights against Denmark's Laerke Olsen and Spain's Isabel Puche, del Toro lost to Japan's Masako Doi, who won the title in that division.
In the bronze-medal combat, the Cuban judoka was defeated by Japan's Nami Nabekura, so she finished in the fifth place.
So far, Japan has dominated four of five divisions in the women's category, and only France's Amandine Buchard has won a title in the 52 kilograms.
Among the men, Japan has won four gold medals in the same number of categories.
