President of Venezuela highlights historical legacy of Fidel Castro

Caracas - President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro highlighted today the historical legacy of the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, on the third anniversary of his death.
On Twitter, Maduro highlighted Fidel's struggle to consolidate the equality, unity and self-determination of the Cuban people, which allowed him for 60 years to resist the attacks of the governments of the United States.
'Three years after the sowing of our teacher and Eternal Commander, Fidel Castro Ruz, we remember his eternal light of learning and dignity that accompanies our daily battles. Fidel will forever be a living example of greatness and revolutionary principles at the service of humanity,' Maduro tweeted.
November 25 marks the third anniversary of the death of the revolutionary leader, who is remembered in this nation for his unbreakable friendship with Commander Hugo Chavez and the support he always provided to the Bolivarian Revolution.
Cubans residing in this country, collaborators of missions and the accredited diplomatic corps, together with Venezuelans, have paid tribute to the legendary guerrilla in recent days, organizing spaces in which his life and work were remembered, as well as the transcendence and validity of his anti-imperialist thought.

Fidel's presence was recalled in several Ariguanabo centers and institutions. Students from the Eduardo Abela Vocational School of Art, located in San Antonio de los Baños, paid tribute to the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, through dance and music.
