Remembered in Artemisa execution of the medical students

Artemisa, Cuba - Students of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Artemisa, recalled the events that occurred on November 27, 1871 in Havana, when 8 future doctors saw their dreams silenced.

The execution of the eight Medical Students accused by the Spanish army of desecrating the tomb of the journalist Gonzalo Castañón, is today strength and commitment for the present and future generations of Cuban health professionals.
