Several primary schools were awarded at the Municipal Festival of Gymnastic Compositions, held at the Julio Pérez stadium in San Antonio de los Baños.
(First teaching cycle) 1st place: José Martí School. 2nd place: Domingo Lence Novo school. (Second cycle) 1st place: Alejandro González Brito and Federico Engels. 2nd place: Julio Pérez school, 3rd place: Livia Gouverneu. 4th place: the Fragua de Comunistas and Julio Antonio Mella schools.
The gymnastic compositions paid tribute to the Educator's Day, Fidel and other important events related to the history of Cuba.
The Municipal Festival of Gymnastic Compositions is held every year aimed at encouraging the skills of teachers and students in the subject of Physical Education.
Culture
Fidel's presence was recalled in several Ariguanabo centers and institutions. Students from the Eduardo Abela Vocational School of Art, located in San Antonio de los Baños, paid tribute to the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro Ruz, through dance and music.
