Cuba and France to hold meeting in Paris on economic issues

Havana - The 4th Session of the Economic and Commercial Commission and the Strategic Orientation Committee between Cuba and France will take place in Paris on December 6, a government source reported in this capital.

As reported on the official Twitter account of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment of Cuba, the meeting will be co-chaired by the Minister of this portfolio, Rodrigo Malmierca, and the Secretary of State to the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne.

According to information previously disseminated by the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the commission was established as part of the Bilateral Economic Agenda signed between the then presidents Raul Castro and Francois Hollande in February 2016, and responds to the objective of stimulating trade and cooperation between companies.

The 3rd Session of the Commission was held in Havana in December of last year.
