Artemisa, Cuba - With a morning of special characteristics, was celebrated the day of Latin American Medicine in Candelaria; the act took place at the polyclinic Gilberto Marquetti of the territory.

The moment was propitious to remember the work that our health workers do in other countries, highlighting that while the empire produces weapons to exterminate human beings, our country trains doctors to save lives anywhere in the world.

At the ceremony was read a letter of congratulation, made by the president of the Councils of State and Minister Miguel Díaz-Canel, to the Health workers. Also were honored prominent workers and the Card of the Communist Party of Cuba was delivered to Romar Vázquez Gavilán.

The central words were given by Jorge Luis Gil Páez Secretary General of the Bureau of the Municipal Health Union.
