Artemisa, Cuba – The province of Artemisa will receive the visit, next week, of the National Technical Group of the Educate Your Child Program, organized by the Ministry of Education. The visit coincides with the activities for the 28th anniversary of this program.
The Master in Education Magaly Barrios Almora, responsible for the activity in the territory commented to Radio Artemisa that the province has 21 948 infants linked to the process, which represents the 99.6 percent of the total number of minors in the ages from early childhood to nursery school and the primary education school years.
Barrios Almora explained that the visit have the objective to verify the operation of the program in the territory and prepare the new promoters as part of the third process of improvement of the Cuban Educational System. Artemisa during the period has developed cultural festivals, gymnastic performances with the participation of the family, festivals of community physical activity, the increase of promoters in the Popular Councils and has stability in the Provincial Coordinating Group, which places it in favorable conditions to receive the specialists.
The municipalities that stand out the most in this activity are Bahía Honda, Candelaria and San Antonio de los Baños.
