UNESCO Director-General, Audrey Azoulay, visits the Sierra del Rosario, in Artemisa

Artemisa, Cuba - At this moment the Director General of UNESCO Audrey Azoulay travels through the Sierra del Rosario Biosphere Reserve, in Artemisa where her first observation is to recognize Cuba's work in the preservation and management of biodiversity. The Doctor of Science Fidel Hernández Figuerola explains the characteristics of this place, a Protected Area of Managed Resources.

UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay is interested in Cuba's experience in the Sierra del Rosario Biosphere Reserve, in Artemisa and states that it is a necessity to extend the results and practices of the country in environmental education.
