The José Rafael Lauzán municipal museum in San Antonio de los Baños exhibits handicrafts made by children with special educational needs from the 17 de Abril school.
The exhibition is made up of handicrafts made of clay, as well as cloth dolls and cardboard figures. In addition to drawings made during the Plastic Arts Workshop taught by art instructor Daniel Arango, ''Anamú'' in this educational center. Mariela Millo and Maria Elisa López, teachers of the workshops, said that this exhibition shows the skills achieved by children through different handicraft techniques.
The exhibition ''With their own hands'', dedicated to the 167 anniversary of José Martí's birth and the 58th anniversary of the creation of special schools in Cuba, will be open until January 28.
