Artemisa, Cuba - The Balance Assembly of the Women and Family Guidance Center of the municipality took place in San Antonio de los Baños, with the participation of all its members.
The Public Health System, the Ministry of Education, the Prosecutor's Office, the Administration Council and the National Revolutionary Police are part of the "The Home", as the center is also known. The Federation of Cuban Women, as the leading organization, acknowledged that there is still much work to be done, and that the masses need to be more involved.
At the end of 2019, more than 120 cases were processed and it was recognized that 11 men reported for advice. This situation marks a change and acceptance towards the Women and Family Guidance Center.
According to Belkis Rodriguez, secretary of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) in the municipality, the new Constitution of the Republic of Cuba brought several transformations in the Family Code, so representatives of the Women and Family Guidance Center will discuss these issues in work centers and communities.
