Preserving human health is top priority, Cuban FM says

Havana - Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez said on Friday that the country's top priority is to preserve people´s health, referring to efforts being made to confront Covid-19.

On Twitter, Rodríguez posted that Cuba is a safe, organized and supportive nation, which effectively fights Covid-19.

He also stressed that Cuba has a solid health system that implements accurate sound prevention and control measures, amid a situation in which there is no internal transmission.

In a previous publication, the Foreign Minister explained that Cuba´s plan to confront Covid-19 pandemic is also applied in the country´s embassies and consulates based in other nations..

In this regard, Cuban Foreign Ministry reported on Thursday that it will promote remote procedures in its consulates due to the high level of Covid-19 spread globally.
