Dr. Francisco Durán, director of Epidemiology at the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap), during one of his customary press conferences to provide updated information on the COVID-19 epidemic in Cuba and around the world, announced today that 1 patient tested positive for Covid-19, a figure that rises to 2 341 confirmed cases. He detailed that 2 214 recovered from the disease. There are 56 patients admitted to hospitals for clinical epidemiological surveillance. To date 86 people have died in Cuba.
Since the first case was released on March 11, Cuba has been working hard on a mega-plan to stop the spread of this disease.
