Havana - Cuba's National director of Epidemiology, Francisco Durán, reported today a total 146 persons are sick at present with Covid-19.
In his usual conference on the course of the pandemic in Cuba, Durán specified that 33 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours, for a total of 2,588 since March when the pandemic was declared.
All are Cuban, 19 women and 14 men, of whom 19 were asymptomatic at the time of the test. Now the country accumulates 1,425 citizens who had no symptoms of the disease when the test was performed, said Durán at the International Press Center in this capital.
On the day, a single medical discharge was granted, no deaths were reported. Deceased total remains at 87, said the specialist.
