According to Dania Díaz Trápaga, president of that management body in the town, at this time the municipal isolation center was reopened at the Fabricio Ojeda special school located in the Ceiba del Agua People's Council and the two provincial centers for that aim remain active, the Lázaro González Facundo pioneers Camp and the Julio Antonio Mella International Camp (CIJAM).
The First Secretary of the Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) also added that although the territory remains in the third phase of the first post-pandemic stage, due to that cause some regulatory measures are adopted such as the use of the masks in all the places, the suspension of the bath in the beaches of Punta Cachón, Banes and El Salado, and the closure of the state and private bars where alcoholic beverages are sold, among others that will be reported later.
The leaders call the local population to discipline in the shopping malls, to maintain physical distance, to the periodic washing of hands with sodium hypochlorite and avoid the coming and going of people through the streets to avoid possible infections with SARS-CoV-2.
