The two countries have been holding a series of talks since a skirmish that took place between Chinese and Indian troops in the Galwan Valley, Ladakh region on June 15th, the Hindustan Times newspaper recalled.
A mutual consensus to withdraw from all areas of friction was reached during an 11-hour meeting held in June between Chinese and Indian high command in Moldo.
The talks, which were led by Lt. Gen. Harinder Singh, commander of the XIV Corps, and Major-General Liu Lin, commander of the southern Xinjiang military region, aimed at easing tensions and military build-up on both sides of the border.
