Artemisa, Cuba - A great effort is made by the Ministry of Education (MINED) of Cuba to ensure the restart of the 2019-20 school year in most of the country's educational centers this Tuesday, September 1, despite the great economic crisis that the entire world is passing through at this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic, accentuated in Cuba due to the growing Yankee blockade.
In the municipality of Caimito, according to Jonni Cantillo Cantillo, general director of education, culture and sport of the Municipal Administration Council (CAM), the fundamental and necessary resources are guaranteed to receive the students in all kindergartens, primary, secondary, pre-university and special schools and in the centers of technical-professional education (ETP).
The manager pointed out that there are no difficulties with the completion of the teaching coverage since many teachers and professors returned to the classrooms after the salary increase of the workers of the education sector in the country, which puts them in better conditions than in previous courses.
