Prioritized in Guanajay the preventive work with the family

Artemisa, Cuba - The Guidance House for Women and the Family attached to the municipal management of the Cuban Women Federation, FMC, of Guanajay has as its main function the preventive work with the family but also with young people and children, explained Jorge Luis Cruz Llera, coordinator of this institution in the town.

He added that this preventive work is sometimes carried out in the headquarters itself but is also transferred to the community, in the development of activities mainly they promote debate, they give talks on a topic of interest to the family where not only women participate but also men, a matter of vital importance that allows the FMC to enroll men in its activities as a component of the family.

In the work of the Guidance House for Women and the Family are also promoted activities in centers of interest such as the House for Pregnant Women, favoring the debates on responsible motherhood and fatherhood.

Likewise, the House promotes the training in a trade for people who are disconnected from work through the training programs that are given by the collaborators of the entity.
