Artemisa, Cuba - In the Cooperative of Agricultural Production (CPA) Mártires de Barbados in the municipality of Guanajay took place a productive work day in which participated the brigades belonging to the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) and the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP) of the territory in honor to the day of the rural women.
This CPA encourages the livestock and fulfills systematically with the delivery of milk. The FMC and ANAP organizations link their work in tasks and programs that promote the food self-sufficiency, also highlighting the work of the members of the cooperatives and the rural women, cause around 12 women work directly in the agricultural production.
In this way, Reina Laforte Lamoth was also honored, who has spent more than 30 years dedicated to the agricultural work in the cooperative.
