Artemisa, Cuba - This October 17, the José Francisco Costa Velázquez Wine and Liquor Factory in the municipality of Guanajay celebrates 100 years of its founding, for this reason its workers held a ceremony that was attended by the vice minister of the industry of the Food and Fishing, Marlene Rosabal Sánchez and her team working together with political and administrative leaders of the province and the municipality.
During the day, the deputy minister made a tour through the facility and checked the construction conditions of the factory, also held an exchange with the workers directly connected to the production.
In the conclusions, Juan Carlos Amador Muñoz, general director of the beverage and soft drink company Pinar del Río, stated that the factory commemorates its anniversary with the economic and production indicators at 124% as well as the fulfillment of the physical units of alcoholic beverages, total wines and dry wine.
