Artemisa, Cuba - The Committees for the Defense of the Revolution (CDR) in the municipality of Bauta continue their works of support to the public health sector during the new normal phase, implemented in the country since last October 12.
The largest mass organization in the territory contributed, till the date, with 75 voluntary blood donations to the health system and they are planning to exceed the number of 78 planned for this month, according to Erioldys Rodríguez Rodríguez, municipal coordinator of the organization.
The participation of voluntary members and leaders in carrying out the investigations for the identification of the Covid-19 cases is another element that distinguishes their actions these days. The municipal coordinator highlighted the work carried out in this process by zones 30 and 42, helping to enhance the quality of the investigation, which on alternate days reaches one hundred percent of the inhabitants of 13 areas in the demarcation.
At the same time, the leader admitted that this support is insufficient in the urban part of the city, an essential factor to continue maintaining control over the COVID-19, at a time when a new stage of normality is going through in a municipality strongly affected by the pandemic and bordering the country's capital.
