Hero of Cuba recognizes CIJAM's work in confronting COVID-19

Artemisa, Cuba - This Wednesday, November 4, the Hero of the Republic of Cuba Fernando González honored the work carried out by the staff of workers of the Julio Antonio Mella International Camp (CIJAM) of the municipality of Caimito in the province of Artemisa in the confrontation with the COVID-19 by a period of more than six months.
At an event held at that center of world solidarity, in which authorities from the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), the Government, the Union of Young Communists (UJC) and the Central Workers of Cuba (CTC) were also present, the altruism and bravery of the 56 camp workers who offered their services, together with the health personnel, in that entity that became a Provincial Isolation Center was honored.
According to its director Raúl Abreu Chávez, in the period they attended more than 6 700 patients in the categories of symptomatic, contacts, suspects and asymptomatic, those who received the good treatment that the members of the center are accustomed to provide, which in normal periods receives thousands of friends of the world.
