Artemisa, Cuba - Promote the repairs in the Harlem Sugar Mill in the municipality of Bahía Honda, in order to complete them on time and start the next sugarcane harvest in better conditions than the present one, is a task that workers in the sugar sector are intensifying these days in the territory.
According to Juan Miguel Portales Álvarez, head of production of the aforementioned industry, they are currently working on the setup of the boilers and the turbo generator, although in general the repairs are 90 percent complete.
Portales Álvarez also pointed out, although in the last three harvests the Harlem has not been able to guarantee its sugar production plan, its results have been higher than previous harvests.
However, they are working hard to conclude the repairs in the Industry as soon as possible, guaranteeing their quality, in order to make the coming stage the efficient and productive harvest that the country demands so much.
