Artemisa, Cuba - The Basic Unit of Cooperative Production (BUCP) Rigoberto Corcho, from Artemisa, is immersed in a process of repair and maintenance of all the machinery to be used for cutting and transportation of sugar cane in the upcoming harvest scheduled for start next December.
Among the actions that are carried out stands outfor its importance, the innovation work carried out by the main vise operator of the entity Eduardo Guerra González, who makes the Pedestal of the Cooling Fan of the Case 7000 machines, which are in charge of making the cut of the gramineae in the field.
According to Guerra González, this will allow to improve the cooling system of the equipment since this new design presents larger self-aligning bearings, so its durability time will be longer with higher quality and the breakdown time due to this cause will decrease.
Mechanics, assistants and even drivers work from Monday to Sunday to fulfill this task of preparing all the necessary machinery, which also includes the vehicle that works as a mobile workshop and those of service for the personnel who work in this work day and night.
