Havana - A forum on peace is the main activity this Thursday in the virtual international meeting 'Ideas que son banderas,' (Ideas that are banners), organized by the Cuban Young Communist Union.
The forum will start at 09:00 local time, and precedes the closing ceremony of the event that brought together people from all over the world since November 24.
According to the program, a statement in solidarity with Cuba will be read this afternoon and later, an online concert will take place.
On Wednesday, the international meeting held a forum on the ideas by the historic leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro, on occasion of the 4th anniversary of his death.
The meeting focused on the analysis of proposals facing the current challenges for economic development and social welfare of the peoples.
The event invites international youth leaders and personalities to debate under the slogan 'Unity for solidarity, anti-imperialism and anti-neoliberalism: necessary transformation action in times of Covid-19.'
It also recognizes the work done by health workers fighting the pandemic caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and the new generations' contribution in this scenario.
