Artemisa was evaluated of Good by the committee of the agriculture

Artemisa, Cuba -The province of Artemisa, with 210.32 points, reached the evaluation of Good during the tour 67 of the National Group of Urban and Suburban Agriculture, which awarded with the category of Fourth National Excellence to the UBPC Hydroponics, located in San Cristóbal while the farm El Patio de Felo received the Double Excellence.
The UBPC of the municipality of San Cristóbal, eleventh in the country and first in the province to achieve this distinction has full possibilities of over-fulfill the required indicators, said Dr. Esmeralda Acosta, acting head of the group, who also highlighted the links of all workers to the direct production, the profits and the productive growth over the previous year.
Acosta acknowledged the botanical treasures of El Patio de Felo, the rescue of the instruments used in the creation of the forest, the impact of this initiative and its mark on the formation of the new generations.
During the tour were inaugurated several juicer stands near polyclinics, which are run by the productive ways, and the cooperatives linked to the movement of the production of fruits were informed that they must rectify the planting plans for 2015 from the increase of varieties and create conditions for the assembly of a mini-industry.
The best municipality was San Cristóbal, followed by Mariel and Artemisa, while the other territories of the province also achieved outstanding results.
