Infancy still waiting

This November 20th, 2014 was the International Children's Day, its celebration conditioned by the unequal reality of a dark world for children.
The story brings disgrace pages where the violation of child rights occur and agreements to protect children are dead letters. The alleged education, health and welfare required changed for the eternal suffering that takes away the ability to dream.
The Indian poet Rabindranath Tagore said: "The best way to make children good is to make them happy". The depth of this thought points to childhood, filled with beautiful, tender, naive, giggly memories fresh faces, always in full control. Society has among its main challenges make them live a full life after the charm of being children.
To extend our hands and reach the farthest boundary allow us to convey a message of brotherhood, hope, joy and love and change the world as we really are indebted to childhood.
The General Assembly of the United Nations adopted the Convention on the Child´s Rights on November 20th, 1989. This was intended to reaffirm the universal rights of every child so that they were held in every country in the world.
Cuba now shows the world that is actually possible. Our children have the right to life, health, education, the right to family, the protection against any discrimination, against Child Abuse, Exploitation and live full to enjoy the conquered peace, live and they are an active part in society.

The exhibition shows photographs, puppets and costumes used by Los Cuenteros in various performances since 1969.
