Cuban FM Welcomes His Spanish Counterpart

Havana -The Cuban Foreign Affairs Minister, Bruno Rodriguez received today his Spanish counterpart, Jose Manuel Garcia Margallo, who joined an official visit to the Caribbean country.
As part of the agenda of the diplomatic he met the Vice president of the Council of Ministers, Ricardo Cabrisas.
During the meeting they talked about the perspectives of bilateral relations, specially in the economic, commercial and investment spheres, according to an official note.
They also tackled issues of the international agenda such as the challenges imposed by the current global economic crisis.
Garcia-Margallo was accompanied by the Spanish ambassador here, Juan Francisco Montalban, director of the Cabinet of Minister, Juan Jose Buitrago, among other representatives of that European nation.
Cuba was represented by Elio Rodriguez, director for Europe and Canada, accompanied by various officials of the Foreign Ministry.
