Artemisa, Cuba -The sexuality at different stages of life, phases, characteristics, main problems and their counteract, were subjects of the first conference for the scientific program of the course on adolescence, sexuality and mental health of the Faculty of Medical Science that was held in the Mausoleum to the Martyrs of Artemis, last Monday.

The meeting included four exhibitions, related to the mentioned topics and each of them particularized aspects of the prenatal process, infancy, preschool stage, school stage, early, middle and late adolescence, youth, young adult, middle-aged and old age.

The pre-day will be in session during three consecutive days 24, 25 and 26 of this month. In the last two days will be tackle themes such as the prevention of behaviors and suicide attempts and addictions, as well as cognitive disorders and dementias and their updating according to the treaty of psychiatry, in its fifth edition.

The contests were scene of important interventions of professors from the National Group for the care of the Adolescents and Masters in Biology Sciences, Sexologists, Psychologists, among others.
