Cuba Marks Human Rights Day

Havana Cuba - Cuba stressed the consolidation of Latin American Integration as part of the rights of the peoples to self-determination, development and peace.
During a ceremony at the Cuban Friendship Institute, its president Kenia Serrano said that Cuba calls for the supportive embrace since "Cuba is the home of all."
Cuba marks Human Rights Day amidst the update of its socialist economic model aiming at improving the quality of life of the people, said Serrano.
The ceremony, considered a meeting of solidarity for the human rights of the peoples, gathered representatives from different countries, friends from Puerto Rico, students from the Arab Saharawi Democratic Republic, Palestine, Chile, Ghana and members of the Committee for the Freedom of the Cuban Five.
