Students proved their mettle in Internal Control

Artemisa, Cuba - For the first time the University of Artemisa participate in a National Checking to the Internal Control (in this case, the IX). Students of second year of Accounting intervened in that exercise, and the preliminary conclusions about their work were released recently in a talk with them.
"Are needed many accountants in the country, and especially in Artemisa, a young province and with a great impact on the economic development of the nation," expressed Jorge Zubizarreta Hernández, provincial chief comptroller.
He also said that young persons will be always needed in that mission. "To be a good auditor, you have to be a good accountant. Keep studying and preparing that other tasks will come", he told to the students, who will be the first graduates of that career in this center of higher education.
"It is necessary to highlight the efforts and dedication of these adolescents, because these 19 young persons without receive the subject of Audit faced an exercise of this kind. In the rest of the country are assisted by students from fifth year", said Juan Carlos Prego Regalado, president of ANEC in the province.
