Encouraging results in transportation in Artemisa

Artemisa, Cuba - The 2014 can be described as the best year since the founding of the province, due that the technical availability ratio rose at 63 percent in the passenger activity, the one historically with greater difficulties, stated Juan Carlos Hernández, director general of the Provincial Transport Company.
The main investment completed in the period was the Provincial Bus Terminal in the municipality of Artemisa; were rebuilt 18 buses Girón VI and remained re-motorized other 10, mainly those for sites belonging to the Turquino´s Plan.
They over-fulfilled its plan of transportation of passengers that was 26 millions and the load, equivalent to 387,000 tons, numbers that put them in a better position to provide a quality service to the people of Artemisa and overcome the shortcomings that still exist in this highly sensible sector.
