
Artemisa, Cuba -This January 2 began in the capital of the province of Artemisa the free sale of liquefied gas for the domestic use as part of the gradual implementation of the Guidelines 249 and 250 that were adopted at the Sixth Congress of the Communist Party of Cuba.
On 50th Street between 43 and 45 is located the warehouse were the population can hire the 10 kg cylinders at a price of 400 pesos. Customers also can buy the accessories for the value of 51 pesos and 90 cents including the gas regulator and hoses.
Yoanis Ortega Rivera, head of the group of distribution of the liquefied gas in Artemisa, explained that customers must present their identity card at the entity to make the contract; also they must carry with them the ration book of the house and the document of property of it.
This experience is already implemented in The Havana, Santiago de Cuba and Isla de la Juventud and will be also extended to the provinces of Mayabeque, Matanzas, Camagüey and Holguin.
