Havana - The rock multinational super-group The Dead Daisies, composed of several heavyweights of the genre, will offer two concerts in Cuba, Granma newspaper reported.
The concerts are planned for next February 25 in the Maxim Rock, feud of that music in Cuba, and three days later at the Salon Rosado de la Tropical, regular space for dancers.
The Dead Daisies was born from the union of the New Zealand singer Jon Stevens (INXS) and Australian guitarist David Lowy in 2012, and comprises musicians as Bernard Fowler, Rolling Stones bassist.
Other famous members are Richard Fortus (linked to Guns N´ Roses and Thin Lizzy), Dizzy Reed (Guns N´ Roses), Marco Mendoza (Thin Lizzy, White Snake) Brian Tich (Whitesnake, Ozzy Osbourne ) and John Corabi (Motley Crue).
The group debuted with the album 'The Dead Daisies' with strong influences of country music, blues, soul and hard rock.
The Los Cuenteros Puppet Theater Company celebrated its 50th anniversary this November 19 at the Museum of Humor, located in San Antonio de los Baños, with the exhibition ''Fifty years telling stories''.
