Cuba Attends Berlinade Film Festival

Berlin -The Cuban Film Institute (ICAIC) is present in the market session of the 65th edition of the prestigious Berlinade International Cinema Festival, running between February 5-15 in the German capital.
The film "Contigo pan y cebolla" (With you, Bread and Onion), a Cuban comedy by Cuban filmmaker Juan Carlos Cremata and based on a play written by Hector Quintero, was the proposal for the premier of the Cuban market in the event.
According to information from the Cuban embassy in Berlin, the film was screened at the Parliament Studio hall of Berlin´s parliament building.
The ICAIC stand in the market session, decorated with posters of the Cuban cinema, has been visited by many professionals and those interested on the island´s films.
Gustavo Fernandez and Jose Ambros, officials of the international sales department at ICAIC, used the opportunity to promote the films "Bocacherias habaneras" by filmmakre Arturo Sotto, "Vestido de novia" (Bride's Dress) by Marilyn Solaya, and "Omega 3" by Eduardo del Llano.
The Festival has been also a propitious framework to present new Cuban films, whose production will conclude in coming months.
