During a ceremony held at the own entity, the National Secretariat of the Central of Workers of Cuba(CTC) gave the condition of National Vanguard Collective to Rigoberto Corcho Basic Unit Enterprise of Cooperative Production (UBPC), in recognition of its remarkable productive results in planting sugar cane.

The cooperative workers reach a yield of 82 tons per hectare, they over-fulfilled the plan of delivery of sugar cane to the industry and work in several areas due to the diversification of production, including an organoponic of National Reference, a livestock module and the minindustria, among other lines of production.

The UBPC has also received the recognition Sello 70 Aniversariorio de la CTC, the category of National Reference Center. The entity manufactures blocks designed to meet the needs of their members and individuals with subsidies and supports the construction of public housing.

Ulises Guilarte de Nacimiento, secretary general of the CTC; Rolando Fregio, member of the Provincial Bureau of the Party; Juan Dominguez, president of the Provincial Assembly, and other union leaders took part in the ceremony .
