Sanitation Workers Acknowledged in Their Celebration Day

Artemisa, Cuba - Francisco Llanes Mora , a street sweeper from Artemisa Township , was invited to receive a special recognition for his outstanding work since 2008 in places like La Matilde neighborhood or Central Street. The worker received the recognition during the central celebrations for the Sanitation Workers day.

In the stretch of Mariel-Majana trocha that is still preserved, the 95th anniversary of the birth of Faustino Pérez, martyr of the sector who, by his example, preached that doing is the best way to tell.

In the same ceremony different basic Unit Enterprises were acknowledged such as: Bahia Honda’s , Supplying’s Provincial Services and Artemisa’s as the most outstanding for its comprehensiveness. They also applauded the provincial media: el artemiseño newspaper, Radio Artemisa station and Artv due to their disclosing and defense of the sanitation work.

Candelaria Township was praised as the best in the cleanliness of the streets; Guanajay as the one where economy is successfully managed and Bahia Honda Township which offers excellent service to the population due to the workers providing sanitation work.

The event was presided over by Aliusha Álvarez Pino, member of the Provincial Political bourou of Party in Artemisa ; Kenia Cisneros Laudinot, First Secretary of Party in Artemisa township; Eduardo Chiong Velázquez, general secretary of Cuba's Workers Central Union in the province ; and Julio César García, director of Busssiness Group in Artemisa.
