Artemisa, Cuba - On February 24, in the 120 anniversary of the restarting of independence war, the assembly’s process of candidates nomination for delegates to the Municipal Assemblies of People's Power began and it will take place until March 25.

“Today we plan to develop an assembly in each municipality and on March 25 we expect to hold one assembly in each people’s council; and then we will continue, gradually, in other areas of the province. The district supports up to 8 and a nominated by each of them, which is chosen among the leaders," says Vilma Zamora, president of the Provincial Electoral Commission.

The strength of the government bodies in the municipalities depends on the quality of this process , because the people is the one proposing the delegates taking into account their values, prestige and leadership skills.
