Were elected delegates from Artemisa to the Farmers Congress

Artemisa, Cuba - The young Onelkis Zamora and Lázaro Núñez, an experienced farmer in the province of Artemisa, were elected as direct delegates to the 11th Congress of the National Association of Small Farmers.
Zamora since 2000 works as main counter in the Agricultural Cooperative Heroes de Yaguajay in the town of Alquízar, and due to his exemplary nature is the reserve of the chairman of the cooperative in his position.
Lázaro, veteran leader and deputy to the National People's Assembly, was selected by the unanimous vote of the members of the Cooperative of Credits and Services Frank País, which he has managed for over 10 years.
Both delegates from Artemisa to the Farmers Congress are part of groups that hold the condition of National Vanguard (Vanguardia Nacional), the banner 50th Anniversary of the National Association of Small Farmers and the commemorative plaque in honor to José Martí which says: “If man worth, the land worth”.
