Havana - The historical leader of the Cuban Revolution Fidel Castro Ruz sent a letter to Venezuela’s President Nicolás Maduro supporting the speech by the Bolivarian Head of State in which he confronted the US threats to his country.

President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela:

Congratulations for your brilliant and brave speech in response to the evil plans by the Government of the United States.

Your words will go down in the annals of history as a proof that humankind can and must know the truth.

The Cuban Art University (ISA) opened an honorary department dedicated to Fidel Castro’s cultural thinking on Monday as a tribute to the Cuban Revolution’s historical leader, three years after his passing.

Fifty years telling stories

The Los Cuenteros Puppet Theater Company celebrated its 50th anniversary this November 19 at the Museum of Humor, located in San Antonio de los Baños, with the exhibition ''Fifty years telling stories''. The exhibition shows photographs, puppets and costumes used by Los Cuenteros in various performances since 1969.
