Artemisa, Cuba - More than 22 000 children in the province of Artemisa will be immunized for these days during the 54th National Vaccination Campaign of Anti-polio Vaccination.

In the Provincial Hospital Ciro Redondo began the first stage which is administering two doses of vaccine to children of 30 days old till the ones of two years, eleven months and twenty-nine days, informed Dr. Lázaro Águila Quevedo.

The Head of the Department of Epidemiology in the management entity of Public Health in the province, said that from March 26 in the second stage will be vaccinate the babies who were present at the first, and also will be reactivated the children of nine years and eleven months.

In the province of Artemisa all the vaccination centers have product availability, which will be also provided to young residents in places difficult access.
