Cuba, Chile Compete Tonight for World Ticket to Sub-18 Volley

Havana - Cuba and Chile will face each other today in the Third Panamerican Cup of women volleyball category sub-18 in a match that could report the winner a ticket for the World event this year.
Chileans and Cubans won the eve in their first presentations and whoever wins this Wednesday will secure their pass to the Youth World event to be disputed in Lima, Peru, from August 7 thru 18 this year.
The South Americans were very impressive in their success over Costa Rica 3-0 (25-11, 25-11 and 25-6), while the host team had more trouble to eliminate Puerto Rico 3-1 (25-18,25-12,18-25 and 25-18).
However, the level of Puerto Ricans is considered higher than the Costa Ricans and that is why this evening´s game should be very even.
Meanwhile, Puerto Rico will hold on to the possibility of a tie if it defeats Costa Rica and hopes for a defeat in the last date of the duel among the undefeated.
In Group A, where the four teams already have their participation secure in the World tournament, Mexico and Argentina will be rivals together with Peru and the Dominican Republic.
