Perform gender workshop of rural women at Ariguanabo

San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba.- The process Anniversary 55 United for the Fatherland, the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP) and the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) of this town held a workshop genre of peasant women as part of the activities for the event.

The meeting was attended by over 40 women from different productive ways, who discussed topics such as sexuality, gender, sex, asexuality and takeover, among others.

Both women and men became protagonists of participatory techniques to show how the gender strategy in a sector holds by a  large male universe.

Peasant women also exchanged several issues and converged on how to gain representation of women in the rural sector and its functions. They recognized that there is still inconsistency about the vision in both gender in the workplace , the family and the need to reflect in depth on the existing taboo among men and women.
