San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa, Cuba - Journalists and bloggers from the West part of the country participated in the Regional Event of Digital Journalism in the offices of the Provincial Party in Artemisa.

Were represented the media of radio, print and television from Pinar del Rio, Havana, Artemisa, Mayabeque, Matanzas and the special municipality Isla de la Juventud.

Throughout the day the achievements, challenges and prospects of these professionals give space to local and national events on the Web, especially with emphasis on Social Networks.

Subjects related to positioning, functionality, interactivity and quality of the contents published in digital media constituted central themes in the event. Artemisa province gave space to the work of its bloggers, totaling more than 20 different media.

Everything happened there was in force on Internet, by monitoring in real time on social networks.

From the station "Radio Ariguanabo" attended Jorge Luis Lazo, director, Jose Anibal Ramos, webmaster and press reporters Carmen Lieng Mena and Maivy Cruz.

The regional meeting ended with the reflections of Joaquín Suárez, official of the Central Committee of the Cuba Communist Party and visit to the Mausoleum of Artemisa Martyrs.
