24th International Book Fair reaches Artemisa

Artemisa, Cuba - More than 700 titles for children, young persons and adults will be available to readers in the province of Artemisa, where were inaugurated this Tuesday the Twenty-Fourth Book Fair and Literature.
Until next April 12 the shelves and kiosks of the fairgrounds in this municipality will market about 79 000 copies, said Margarita Callamo Vaillant, Provincial Director of the sector of Culture.
The Provincial Director at the opening activity of the festival of the letters and knowledge in Artemisa added that literary proposals will be accompanied by an artistic program that includes concerts of troubadours as Frank Delgado and Adrian Berazaín and also the performance of theater groups for children.
In the room for conferences and presentations 30 writers of the territory and guests will show their latest titles, including updates of the provincial publishing company Unicorn.

The Los Cuenteros Puppet Theater Company celebrated its 50th anniversary this November 19 at the Museum of Humor, located in San Antonio de los Baños, with the exhibition ''Fifty years telling stories''.
