Nominations For Ligue 1 Player of the Year

París - Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Alexandre Lacazette, and Argentinian Javier Pastore and Marco Verratti have been announced as the nominees for the Ligue 1 Players'' Player of the Year.

Paris Saint-Germain dominate the field with Ibrahimovic, Pastore and Verratti representing the club, while Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal target Lacazette is the odd one out for Lyon.

Lacazetta is the deadliest striker in France, having scored 27 goals for second-placed Lyon, 10 more than Ibrahimovic. The winner will be announced at a ceremony on May 17.

The French season is three games from ending and PSG sit just three points ahead of Lyon with difficult fixtures against Guingamp, Montpellier and Reims remaining.

Ibrahimovic has just three per cent of the vote on an online poll for who should win with 10,000 votes cast

The Award for best Trainer is being disputed among Laurent Blanc (PSG), Jocelyn Gourvennec (Guingamp), Hubert Fournier (Lyon) and Christophe Galtier (Saint-Etienne).

The prize for goal keeper will be contested among Steve Mandanda, Stéphane Ruffier (Saint-Etienne), Danijel Subasic (Mónaco) and Anthony Lopes (Lyon).
