Home for the Elderly Persons of Artemisa: One achievement of the Revolution

Artemisa, Cuba - When you visit the farm Acán located four kilometers at east of the capital municipality of Artemisa, in the province of the same name experiences a feeling of tenderness that makes the heart beat faster.
The home for the elderly persons Fidel Labrador, takes in 50 old persons who receive the most conscientious cares from a group of workers who aim to make life more pleasant to them.
The building has fifteen rooms, a living room, a pharmacy, a spacious dining room, a kitchen, two bathrooms and a wide plot of land where grow trees that beautify the place.
Those who receive the benefits of this home have a balanced diet guided by a dietician, who counts with all necessary products for a proper nutrition and also they have an adequate medical care.
Undoubtedly this is another achievement of the social system of Cuba, because in this country beggars ran over 50 years ago thanks to the revolution that triumphed on January 1, 1959.
