Artemisa, Cuba - The Base Business Unit (UEB) of Carbide and Acetylene Alfredo Corcho Cintra of the municipality of Caimito in the province of Artemisa is carrying out right now a maintenance program in the area of the acetylene plant, which will allow henceforth fulfill with greater efficiency the planned plans.

The works go satisfactorily to increase the capacity of supply the demand of acetylene in the provinces of Pinar del Rio, Artemisa, Mayabeque, Havana and the special municipality of Isle of Youth; stated Deysi González Meireles, director of the factory of Artemisa.

In line with the guidelines adopted in the Sixth Congress of the Cuban Communist Party the UEB Carbide and Acetylene of Caimito assumes several projects to diversify its assortments. It will soon begin the production of cleaners for houses and also they are planning to market paints with great social demand.
