The Cuban Association of Agricultural and Forestry Technicians (ACTAF), calls for participation in the tenth edition of Agroecological Journalism Contest Alfredo Jordan in Memoriam.

May participate media journalists, media specialists, graphic designers and amateur photographers of all provinces. This competition for the first time will have a national character and aims to encourage and recognize the work of journalists, amateur photographers and graphic designers regarding the following topics: Agroecology, sustainable agriculture and organic production, care and conservation of our natural resources and environmental protection, diversification, integration and agricultural self-sufficiency, family in rural areas.

The works to compete must have been widespread and exposed by the media or other public settings until August 30th, 2015.

Entries must be sent or delivered to the provincial headquarters in Artemisa ACTAF with the following information:

Name and surname
Home Address
Workplace
Phones
Identity card

The jury will be composed of specialists from the Cuban Association of Agricultural and Forestry Technicians, the Cuban Association of Social Communicators, and the Union of Cuba Journalists.

Grand Prix in print, on radio, television, photography and graphic design will be delivered. Mentions were also given, so as to consider the jury. In addition to the awards and who concursen receive a certificate of participation.

The award will be made in the context of the celebrations for September 21st, Agroecology Day in Cuba.
